Yesterday, I attempted to get my monk through more of the Factions campaign.

Aspenwood, getting my Kurzick faction up: A ranger with flare, meteor, and star burst.

More Aspenwood: A warrior with backfire and empathy. He was willing to cast Backfire under NR.

Arborstone: An assassin with Fire Storm.

Convocation: Warrior with 1500HP, who ran into battle and hit Endure Pain at full health. He initially had Mending, but I forced him to drop it so he could cap Dragon Slash.

Sunjiang District: An assassin with Endure Pain.

Fortunately, I just got my Kurzick armor, so now it's time to go to Elona and get my heroes so I can trust at least part of my team to bring a real skill bar.

I was playing in Aspenwood the other day (its fun, even if it isnt high quality) and a ranger popped out of the teleporter. Rather than the conjure x i was expecting to see the ranger used powershot followed by aftershock. They key point is that he was stood an aggro bubble away from anyone.

Having first thought this was simply a mistake, mispressed button, I then kept an eye on him for the rest of the game. Turns out it wasnt an accident.

P.S. He also had stone daggers which he insisted on spamming.

Haha this topic is hilarious. I thought I'd share this one with you.

The final mission of Prophecies, with all the Titans, before Factions came out.

I had to monk for a group with an N/R in it, whose primary method of attack was meleeing with his fiery dragon sword and using "kindle arrows" as often as possible. Nobody even mentioned it once. I stopped healing it when I didn't see any other skills. The other monk did too I think, but was nice enough to rebirth him after every battle. We beat the mission and my question is how many PUGs did he take down before he finished the game that day?

I don't remeber what he used after, I belive it was Lightning Surge.

This was also the same battle that had the Conjure Lightning/Decapitate Elementalist!!!! 100% honest.

I accomplished my life's goal today. Monk puts up Shield of Judgement in RA before running at me with an axe. I put up Weapon of Remedy. He dies in one hit. It takes a second to register before my team bursts out laughing

that reminds me of running a toucher in AB many moons ago to get enough amber for some armor. ran into a 55 who i absolutely tormented for two rounds. i decided to just goof off and go after him the whole battle. would wait outside their base for him to leave, chase him down, 1 touch, and POOF! no more 55. i kept it up for two rounds before he started screaming in all chat before rage quitting half way into the second bout.

oh, how i miss goofing off in AB...

Not a specific build but something you see all the time in RA:

Warrior without a speed buff, or a cripple, or a knockdown. Proceeds to chase you (the monk) around in a circle for the duration of the match, and spams "runner noob" or "coward" at you after he's lost. You see this all the time

It's fun on the Ascalon, and the House Zu Helzter inspired map to let the warrior chase you to a lower/higher level, then Return to a teamate on a different level, and watch him limb up/down the stairs.

The other day in random I ran into a warrior spamming the elite Signet of Midnight.

Hmm... interesting, I thought... what is he going to do with this?

Well, he'd hit SoM and then unload his adrenal combo doing absolutely nothing.

This was even better, because I was running my R/me with Spirit of Failue so I was getting free energy.

The best part was that when he finally figured out he was doing nothing to me he then went and starting blinding our monk.

All this talk brings back memories of my Ennervating Charge warrior.

Back in the day I had a ViM warrior that just went crazy with condition spam, but for some reason I thought ennervating charge would be a GREAT addition to that bar, so for about two weeks I ran an ennervating charge warrior in RA.

Hey, don't laugh at that. One of our warriors when i was in illu wanted to mess around in GvG and brought a W/E with Glyph of Essence and Phoenix... and honestly it actually raped lol. Wasn't a really serious build, but Evis-Exec-Phoenix in GoEssence does a damn big spike.
